The Transparent Software System
One of the challenges families are facing is finding out exactly what assistance is being provided for their loved one during each visit. AMADA is the only home care company in California that offers the Web-based software system called Transparent. Transparent enables families to log on, day and night, and see exactly what duties have been performed for your loved one by the caregiver.

Our caregivers clock in and out remotely from the client’s home and report, in detail, each activity carried out during the day. This information goes straight to our website where you can login with a personal ID and password to get up-to-date reports on activities and progress. Clear and open communication is the key to a strong, successful relationship.

Transparent is also an excellent benefit for our clients with long term care insurance – you’ll have access to easier, faster insurance claims. Our online system allows you instant access to all notes to help expedite payment from your LTC insurance company.

AMADA Case Management
Case management is a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation and advocacy. Through communication with families, focusing on an individual’s health needs, and using resources available, future senior care options can be formulated.

Initially, AMADA Senior Care offers case management consultations to assist clients and families in meeting their primary goal of remaining safely at home. You may encounter case managers in a variety of settings in the healthcare continuum. AMADA case managers pride themselves on being “where the rubber meets the road” – we assess the need for additional services; address coping and adjustment issues; and assist with the psycho-social needs of you and your loved ones.

Initial consultations are free of charge and may be conducted in person or over the phone. Meetings to facilitate family discussions can also be arranged as appropriate. Please contact your AMADA Senior Care office to inquire about this value-added service.
